    Haven’t been back to the gym in 6 weeks

    @hales13 When I can’t motivate myself, I say “I’m just going to drive there”. That’s it. I drive, I get in the parking lot. Then I decide to do 1 exercise. That’s it. After that one exercise, if I’m drained and done, I’m done. But generally I find myself in the zone and do my usual workout.

    Squats: How far do you go down?

    @farmerdex I’ve heard that plates below your heels is particularly good for people with long femurs! I personally disagree with people saying it’s a crutch - squat shoes are also elevating your heels. Imo it can really help avoid injuries.

    @mrkruback I think part of the reason that people favor hip thrusts over squats is that it’s easier to activate glutes during thrusts, and easier to have quad dominance with squats.
