    @johnk_12 Ive tried barbell rows and im not a fan. For back I do cable rows, machine rows, lat pulldown, shrugs and cable rear delt flies. Machine rows allow for the wider grip that my cable rows are missing.

    @johnk_12 I do narrow cable rows with other machine back exercises instead of bent over rows. Is that good ? Thanks for the other info.

    @shawndude For leg strength and leg hypotrophy. Im assuming squats build more overall body strength but would it build more leg strength ? I think its the same no ?

    @shawndude But what if your doing bodybuilding like training and already training every muscle group (including upper body ones) twice a week. Doesnt that make the extra strength benefits of squats redundant ? Maybe squats benefit atheletes that dont really work on or focus on their upper body...

    @shawndude When you say strength. Do you mean squatting strength or overall strength. Does squats make me stronger as an individual in comparison to leg press ?

    @533th3r So I tried today but when I tried to row the wide grip one into my abs, the bar would touch me before I contracted properly. Now im thinking I shouldve just rowed into my chest instead of abs.

    @luxaeterna Very deep. My butt touches my feet. Thats why its an insane cardio exercise for me. If I ever pick up squats again as a complimentary exercise, Ill be doing jump squats with lighter weight and half Rom. Only for the atheltic benefits.

    @chevygirl1990 I mean do slow and controlled negatives. When I mean I rep faster....I mean I dont take 5-10 secs break inbetween reps due to being out of breath. Thats what happens when I squat.

    @confusedgirl98 Ive felt more in more quads in a leg press than a squat. Probably cause I can reps faster, meaning the quads are under more tension. Ive only felt this way in a leg extension as well.
