PSA: Don’t trust a shitty pull up bar. Almost died today because I’m an idiot

@hopetobereborn My sister bought me those doorframe pull up bars that you extend between the doors. I stuck it in there without the cups that you screw in (as I didn't want to ruin the frame) to demonstrate how to use it. Did one pull up and it fell down, I landed on my back and banged my head...

Stuck in a hotel room for 2 weeks. No equipment, only food options are takeout/microwave. Review my fitness plan?

@totalimmortal Dips. In the bath or using an armchair or edge of bath or chair Superman pushups (or holds). Suitcase lunges and squats (put everything in the suitcase!) Copy a tai chi video but do it extra deep/wide. Shadow boxing. Or get your partner to hold a pillow. Or plank one arm...

My name is Brandon Wynn, Captain of the US Mens Gymnastics Senior National Team, AMA!

@snowy123 Thanks for the reply. Really appreciate it. 4 to 5 times? That's more frequent than I would have thought! I will adjust my training routine as you've recommended, though. Thanks once again. :)

My name is Brandon Wynn, Captain of the US Mens Gymnastics Senior National Team, AMA!

@snowy123 Thanks for taking the time out to answer questions. I am trying to nail the planche (at the moment, I can hold tucked, can get into semi-tucked without swinging). I get the progressions but how many times a week should I be training for the planche? (Also, I'm the wrong side of 40 if...

I am no where near touching my toes. Horrible flexibility. Please help

@arc90901 Just do it everyday for a count of 30. Especially just after a hot bath or when you get out of a warm bed so you're nicely warmed up.

    Tuck L-sit made me climax??

@ajc017 Nothing stopping you going up to hotties in the gym then explaining that you're conducting studies into relative effects of talking to different people and achieving PBs. As for the boner, you'll have to think something up yourself.

    Tuck L-sit made me climax??

@ajc017 ISTR some research was done about chatting to hotties in the gym actually increases T levels irrespective of whether you get a date, were flirting or just talking about moths. It was the fact that you were talking to a hotty. Biology, eh.

@riverrose So you didn't do any barbell squats at all?

    My transformation/progress (30/M/170cm/69kg) from calisthenics (x-post from /r/fitness/)

@riverrose Impressive. By squats, do you mean "air squats"?

How to choose set of plates for home gym?

@albert123 Are we talking about the same thing? I mean vinyl plates filled with sand. Are you talking about rubberised cast iron plates for olympic bars?

How to choose set of plates for home gym?

@joshlete If budget is tight, Gumtree often have people selling kit. Get cast iron plates not vinyl as you can build up more load on a bar (space is the issue with vinyl). And preferably, an olympic bar and plates. If you do get "home" weights, then if you see the plate costing around £1 per...

One Arm Chin Up Tutorial by Guinness World Record Holder - Strict Full R.O.M Technique - Extreme & Easy!

@michaelphemo Includes the hidden video on how Marcus Bondi picks up girls. Good tutorial. I had figured out the progressions including using two fingers and a towel (am at that stage) so it's good to get confirmation that I'm on the right track. Like those 10% exercises. Will start doing...

@rev411 Yeah, I'm nowhere near those for benching. On a good day, just under 30kg. Surrey, UK. Near Kingston, which is also in Canada. :D

@rev411 Ah, I guess you may need help. I do see people balance them on their knees and lean back into position - I am talking about beasts doing benches with 50kg DBs not just little ol' me with the pink DBs. ;)

@rev411 Well done. PS Nowt wrong with DBs if they're heavy enough to keep challenging you. :) Problem is, most gyms tend not to have heavy dumbbells (one local one only has the heaviest ones as 30kg!).
