    @romans5to8 When I started lifting I was in less good shape so lifting had a cardio element. Now that I am more advanced and worked on my cardio a lot it no longer does it. Only running for over 40min gets me there nowadays.

    @rbrbrb2 So you're 20 if aiming for 130-150? Some people can't slow jog but most can fast walk. If there is too much shin pain when walking fast switch to a different cardio exercise until your VO2 improves a bit. Like bike or eliptical.

    @patsy_cline_fan I definitely agree that women can train way more than men. We don't have as much explosive strength that allows men to lift very heavy but we have insane endurance.

    Frustrated with barbell back squats

    @ortho My anatomy (long femurs) + ankle injury from childhood makes back squats so hard to progress for me. For most people their squat is similar to their DL. My DL is almost twice my squat. I also tried everything and got so frustrated. No advice, just sympathy. I still do them once a week but...
