4 day split VS bro split

@loveis Nice. The bro split doesn't hit that criteria though

    Bicep tendon pain

@jbreyes777 How is your warmup? Also try for high reps by doing jack knife pullups instead of regular ones and don't go to failure. Any pain at all means you're doing too much right now.

4 day split VS bro split

@lostsoul_ The general recommendation is 2-4 frequency. Hitting a muscle two times a week with half the session volume should give you more high quality reps.

    overtraining impacting results

@luke2334janel Genetics are a thing. We all had that one dude in school that was a natural freak that just was way stronger than anyone with minimal effort. Genetics are however absolutely not an excuse to give up. It's the reason why you to go harder for the same results. It sucks but that's...

What made your arm grow the most?

@setst777 As much as you can do without it interfering with your other workouts. Also do the arm iso work first in your workouts for a month or so and it will probably make a difference. Maybe slower growth on compounds but you wont loose any

New "RIR 1-2 vs RIR 0" Study - Similar gains

@livingme7 5 rir is more hypertrophic than people think. I think that the last set of (almost) every exercise you do should be to failure to give some insight in how to gauge rir, the rest at 3-0.

What made your arm grow the most?

@tom34 Nice. I feel that 5s is too short of a rest time so might try gvs.

What made your arm grow the most?

@tom34 Tried myo reps but feeling drop sets way more. How do you use them? Gonna try long length partials in a couple of weeks, they feel so fucken good on rows

What made your arm grow the most?

@setst777 Listen to the great Mike Israetel. Just treat them like any other lacking muscle. Do them first in your workouts and add volume slowly until you're not recovered for the next session then you dial it back a tiny bit.

    Seriously stubborn and weak chest

@polarbearwear Try not going to failure all the time. Leave a rep or two in the tank for your presses and go to failure on flys if you have to. That way you can probably increase volume a bit, like 3 sets of your 3 exercises

Been training for years and on the verge of giving up due to lack of progress, what should I do?

@moonlightlaura Yeah you might think so but it's not what the studies tell you. And I see a lot more comments about doing too much where lowering volume lead to better results than the opposite.

Been training for years and on the verge of giving up due to lack of progress, what should I do?

@piescko Nah it's closer to the 80-20 rule. 20% effort for 80% of results, 80% for the rest 20%. 5 sets per week get you 65% of the gains you get from 20 sets (don't recall exact numbers but it's something like that)
