    @ms7dc I’ll tell you from experience it is extremely possible to look fairly fit with absolutely awful V02 max and cardiovascular endurance. Really, really need to work on that. So yeah the opposite is very possible.

    @servant52 I lost like 50 pounds with literally 0 steady state cardio. When on like a mile run once or twice. I just lifted and ate super clean. Do cardio for your heart but it honestly doesn’t help my weight loss much. I just get really hungry and binge.

    @mrsmac0324 Haha yeah I don’t remember details but when I started getting healthier I watched some video and that really stuck with me. Really drives home energy expenditure and the simplicity of losing weight.

    @unbridledwild Amen. Putting aside cardiovascular and longer term benefits - exercise is great for maintaining weight but not so good for losing. The tried and true is to go on some walks, lift heavy a few times a week, and count calories with exactness. You can lose weight on 1500 calories...
