@jpaulhansen 275lb bench, 455lb deadlift. I haven't squatted in over 2 years.
200lb bodyweight.
Want to get over 315lb on bench and 500lb on deadlift. Then will reassess from there.
@gm0nkx
What do you think markets trends consist of? Oh right it's the aggregate of what most individuals want.
Except you're not Arnold or Layne and neither are the vast majority of "coaches"
@bosirejared You're putting too much weight on the inbody numbers.
It also sounds like you're barely moving the scale before stopping the bulk.
You're not going to get big & strong if you don't give yourself some room to grow.
@namaoza I don't consider BMI to be that flawed. Yes I'm out of the standard reference range for it, but that's explainable. It's when further explanation isn't examined that issues with it arise.
But I can't say I find any of the other markers to be particularly flawed.
@hallartistry
315+ lb bench press (left over goal from 2023, hope to knock this one out early and start chasing 365)
600lb deadlift
sub 7:30 mile
Enter a strongman comp
And reassess each when/if they are accomplished.
@namaoza I care about weight for certain lifts. Ability to run 1-3 miles in reasonable times. And that my general health markers are within reference ranges.
