Yesterday I did a good long stretch with 3min holds and today they feel really great so the next few days are going to be full rest or active rest with stretching and maybe some light cardio 1 day (recumbent bike) then Monday I’m coming back with a much lighter routine...

    @unworthybutgrateful Oh def will do! I think this may have actually been a good thing thinking about it bc I’m gonna be a lot better to my body with stretching and warming up and foam rolling and not overdoing it :)

    @jillhydra Think I’m gonna change to strength training for 30-40 mins max. cardio 2x a week, stretching/Pilates 2x a week and adding more warming up, stretching, foam rolling etc. hopefully that protects my knees!

    @hurtbuthopeful2699 Thx. Think the kickbacks, deadlifts and hip thrusts are my best bet for my knees for now!

    @josh12 Some are but I think fitness is just more so a way of life for a lot of people in which case you’ll always be able to find time and motivation for it :)

    So basically I started exercising and working out about a month and a half ago with the goal of growing my legs and glutes plus cardio but have recently had some knee soreness. My lifestyle before was quite sedentary for years then I started exercising 6 days a week with legs being done everyday...
