Published Article - Creatine intake for females - a lot of benefits, very little downsides (strength, depression, body composition) :)

@afj92 Hmmm I don't think I was loading, it was definitely as directed. Perhaps I'll try again, right now, my stomach is messed up anyway so best to wait until that subsides.

@goaster I actually found a stomach friendly version of creatine thanks to the Tim Ferris podcast ‘Kre-Alkalyn” which is ‘buffered’ creatine. In your case I couldn’t be sure, you would have to experiment by stopping one to see if that makes a difference and vice versa to find the culprit.

@worshiper1994 I can't take it, it upsets my tummy. It's a bummer because I know it is the one supplement that would actually do something.

Videos of women outdoing/keeping up with men in physical activities?

@nordicgirl I remember marathon runner for Australia Sinead Diver said she found it strange that when she went out for runs some men would try to match and overtake her when she’d speed past them.

@brothergee I hear what you are saying but shout out to the introverted and timid girls who don’t want to go but go anyway.

Very uplifting article I found about female strength training. Belief in yourself and your abilities is so important!!

@christi79 Also it is more important that we lift weights because we lose bone density during menopause, and are at higher risk of osteoporosis.

    Mod Post: The Ideal Gym

@acer621 A gym where cardio equipment is interspersed with free weights so that women don't feel intimidated by the weights areas i.e. just seeing only a bunch of guys in one room. A specific and dedicated area for barbell hip thrusts. A clear and visible no harassment policy and plenty of...

    Great video about bloating

@cabeyta She is not a knowledgeable in the area of GI research, she started a phd in a completely different area related to Bio-science and she did not complete her phd. She is probably bloated because she is hydrating so much in the heat and drinking a lot of shakes or most likely because of a...

Gym employee hit on me and asked for my number.. do I mention how uncomfortable that makes me to a different manager?

@mamazluv When you are at work there is a certain code of professional ethics that should be followed and it is most certainly not professional to approach a customer, corner them, ask them personal questions and then ask for personal details.

how do you manage stress in ways that aren’t exercise??

@porcelainrose Yes it relaxes the muscles, I would normally use the sauna in the gym this time of year. Wim Hoff would probably tell me to take cold showers to lower inflammation but what can I say, I'm a wimp.

how do you manage stress in ways that aren’t exercise??

@porcelainrose Go to bed early, read a book. Hot shower (I live in a cold country). Listen to audiobooks, podcast whilst going for a walk.

My spin instructor made me cry!

@cepha I've never in my life. What age were the people in the class, there are some older ladies in my class who would have told her to 'f*ck off'.

My arms are impossible... any advice?

@andrewxk7 Your shoulders look like they are rolled forward a bit, I recommend doing face pulls and rows, side dumbbell extensions.

Very uplifting article I found about female strength training. Belief in yourself and your abilities is so important!!

@rsdar Because there is a pervasive attitude that suggests women shouldn't lift weights as they don't need to as it won't make any difference. In fact it can be well argued that women need to be there more than men.

@adewale You should never, ever focus on doing high reps with ab training. Your attention should always be on tension.
