    @mjwise Good points - so often I'll be training with people who are totally beginners and i will not be a ROM nazi if it is uncomfortable for them or the just can't physically achieve 'correct range of movement' - for many it's the first time they have 'bent their knees ' or lifted their legs...

    @umusagoat Hi Sacred - OK - maybe try using big fitness rubber band if poss - or just extend that one leg by millimetres - as soon as you begin to overbalance - pull back slightly - and then hold at the furthest possible level! Give it a try!
