How do I run in zone 2?

@rbrbrb2 Try doing run/walk intervals. Also, have you considered running outside instead of on a treadmill? You may find it easier to self-regulate your pace that way. Also, I highly recommend checking out r/XXRunning!

Comprehensive lululemon Legging Guide for an Ex-Employee

@praisingourgod I just checked out the Fast and Free on their website and it does seem to have a decently sized pocket. I'll have to check it out in the store to see exactly what I can fit in there. Thanks for the tip! And I feel the same way, I really don't prefer to run with my phone in the...

Comprehensive lululemon Legging Guide for an Ex-Employee

@nguyenkhoa Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately it seems like only the crop 23" length is available right now (and I prefer full length or ankle length). The back pocket does look pretty big though!

Comprehensive lululemon Legging Guide for an Ex-Employee

@silkybunny Thank you so much for writing this detailed guide, this is super helpful! One question - do any of the running-focused leggings have pockets big enough to fit an iPhone on the front/back of the waistband (i.e. not in the side pockets)?

Tips for Treadmill to Road Running?

@jero8858 I would just start running outside asap. And don't worry about the specific pace, just focus on running by effort and keep it nice and easy. The pace that your treadmill reads is most likely not accurate, so there isn't really any point in trying to match that pace perfectly outside...

Overall amount of EAAs / chemical score vs protein content

@sgtbrimcg36 You would need to look at the amino acid profile for each protein powder that you’re interested in, and compare it to the “optimal” amino acid profile (see here). The limiting EAA will be different for each type of protein (or blend).

Need advice with my diet for gaining weight

@seinfeld Thanks. I think that all seems reasonable. In that case, I would suggest increasing your calorie target to 3500 calories.

Overall amount of EAAs / chemical score vs protein content

@sgtbrimcg36 A more useful comparison might be to compare the limiting EAA in each protein powder.

Need advice with my diet for gaining weight

@seinfeld Ok, so if you’ve been consistently eating 3000 calories and haven’t been gaining any weight, that means you’ll need to set a higher calorie target for yourself. I would try aiming for 3500 calories, and see how that goes. I also agree with the other comment that the food you’ve listed...

@colindominic Would short-style leotards be allowed (similar the the leotards that kids often wear, like this)?

    @lovedaisies Ooh that's a interesting point, I didn't think about that!

German gymnastics team, tired of 'sexualisation,' wears unitards at Tokyo Olympics

@acer621 Wow, this is awesome! The unitards actually look great and I really can't see any reason why they'd be inferior or a disadvantage compared to regular leotards from a competition/judging perspective. I hope this sets a precedent for other sports!

How do made good granola bars have such a high rda of nutrients when compared to another brand like kashi?

@mwoolstrum The Made Good bars contain vegetable extracts/powders. Also, Kashi bars do contain vitamin E, based on one label I found while searching. But the label does not list the vitamin C or B6 content, so they may contain levels of those also, it's just not listed. It seems Kashi bars are...

Am I eating the right amount of calories?

@xmathiiasx What makes you think that your TDEE is 2000? Where did you get that number? If you exercise 5 hours a week I would expect your TDEE to be higher than that. According to this calculator, you TDEE would be around 1971 calories with "sedentary" selected for the activity level, 2259...
