    @drobbyb You do not necessarily need 1g/lb. The American College of Sport Medicine and other dietetics organizations recommend 1.3-1.8 g/kg which is like 0.6-0.8 g/lb.

    @chrishudges I truly do not think that you need to lower your calorie intake if you've been making progress at a higher calorie intake. 4-5kg in 6 months is a good rate of progress. I do not think that you need to be losing any faster than that.

    @jonahmerchant12 I think that the best thing to eat pre-workout is something high in easily digestible carbs and low in fat and fiber. Things that work well for me are bananas, rice cakes, pretzels, toast, and clif bars.
