@sk83n You might have just solved a long standing mystery for me. I really love this subreddit 💚

What's something you wish you started doing sooner/knew earlier in your fitness journey?

@sk83n SO HELPFUL! Ok so when I do this, my stomach feels kind of pushed out. Does that sound right? I always heard form tips saying to suck in, or 'bring your belly button to your spine,' which is hard for me to even conceptualize, let alone actually attempt. Coughing. I mean, that's so...

What's something you wish you started doing sooner/knew earlier in your fitness journey?

@sk83n I've been avoiding lifting because of back pain/weak core issues. I still feel like I don't know how to properly brace my core- it's the main thing keeping me from more strength training. How did you learn to do it properly? It's something you just kind of have to *feel* when you do it...

I’m so burned out of calorie counting. Has anyone had success with taking a break?

@slant The perfect truly is the enemy of the good enough. I keep re-learning this in various contexts, and probably will for the rest of my life :) I heard some great advice about logging imperfectly...if you make lasagna with ground beef, just go into your app and search for 'homemade...

It’s okay if you don’t want to do at home workouts right now

@gumcareblog Love this post. My workouts have been v random and sporadic (from all the newly free apps! so fun!) and I've been doing a ton of little ones throughout the day just for funsies. But then, I live alone and I'm bored. My apartment is as dirty as ever though. Fuck it. Sometimes...

Those who are 5’0/5’1, what is your goal weight and what are you doing to get there?

@stephny I'm 5' 1" and have been maintaining between 102-108 (ish) for about 4 years (after being 140-150 for decades before that). I track calories, lift weights, and walk every day. I eat a ridiculous amount of protein and mountains of vegetables, which helps keep me satisfied and happy...

Does anyone else feel like they look incredibly stupid at the gym?

@crucisdecristo Don't worry so much about being afraid of looking stupid: as you gain confidence over time, that will go away naturally. You're (no blame- we all do this!) projecting your own thoughts directly into other people's heads. I mean, for all you know, they could be thinking about...

Any 4’9 - 5’0 ladies eat more than 1500 calories?

@mannequinsdance Can you give any more information about the ‘go, grow, and glow’ foods? Thanks!!

    Can’t lose 5 lbs

@lt11 If you don’t already, try weighing your food on a food scale for a few weeks. I know it’s annoying if you’re not in the habit, but it can be the fastest way to see if you’re eating the calories you think you’re eating. You could literally solve the mystery in a single day. It’s so easy to...

Petites who has successfully lost those last ~5-10lbs, did it make a significant difference in your body?

@dassahjoy Everyone is different, and you're the only one that can say for sure whether it's worth it or not. BUT... I recently cut from 112 to 105 and the difference in how I look and feel is huge- it's like night and day. For me, 5 pounds is a clothing size, so at 112 I couldn't wear half...
