    Jeff Nippard’s New Exercises

@ray0174 Saw some of this stuff and I'm not exactly a fan... I think a lot of these influencers have gone off the trails lately with the exercise selection, form and everything. At some point I tried to be "optimal" and kept searching for better exercises but honestly speaking what I should've...

What are some simple things you all do to improve your fitness?

@twallacejolly Various hoka trail running shoes off work and in work I have to wear safety shoes, Sievi seems to be a decent brand that makes shoes that fit my feet. I can't remember the specific models but both brands seem to be rather durable. Took a while to get usef to Hoka's shoes, they are...

What are some simple things you all do to improve your fitness?

@eyeq I walk to work and back. I take the longer route just for the heck of it, on top of that I take a 3km walk in the evenings, all that comes up to 10km's and since it's divided into 3 different walks, I don't really even notice it. I already work in a kitchen so, I'm getting my daily steps...

When working out 3 times a week what is the best number of exercises per each day? 6? 8? 10?

@bingsta Depends on how advanced you are, what's your split, how well can you recover and what are the exercises you're doing. Working the full body, doing compounds you can go as low as 3 and by adding isolation you can go up to 7

7 months into lifting, feeling like I'm not doing good enough.

@cleannie Compare yourself to only yourself. It will take long time to progress. I was on a plateau with my ohp for 4 months and it wasn't until everything hit plateau I realized to take some time off. 1 week of pure rest and changed from doing ohp twice to week to just doing it once made me to...

    Full RoM or heavier squat

@bort For a better ROM I use smith machine and use less weights. I use small plates under my heels and even lean into the bar a bit so I'm not directly under the bar, my heels might be a foot and a halfs length in front of the bar. I use quite narrow stance too for this kind of squats. 50-60%...

Has anyone actually had a success story with their calves?

@kaieraai Use full ROM, preferably do standing and sitting calf raises, try to hit your calves as often as possible, I personally end all of my workouts with calves, 3x of 15, last set AMRAP. All of your muscle potential is about genetics, stop blaming your calf genetics and just start working...

Is hitting a muscle group once every 7 days regarded as a "faulty" way to train?

@sunflower39 Not ideal and you'll get gains slower than if you hit em 2-3 times a week, most likely at least, but you will get gains if you stay consistent.
