What's something you wish you started doing sooner/knew earlier in your fitness journey?

@nart Yeah I've done crossfit for over a year and made almost zero progress. I'm sure eating more protein would've made a massive difference. I'm vegan and don't think it's hard to get enough protein now, but I just wouldn't go for it without tracking.

Mark Rippetoe thinks putting women in concentration camps is an "interesting take"

@bevinluvwithjesus No, in a "I support that" way.. According to comments to the IG post, this is not his first dodgy comment. I haven't followed him in the past but for many who did, this is not surprising at all. This thread is another shitfest.

Mark Rippetoe thinks putting women in concentration camps is an "interesting take"

@mags1234 Then he could just make a clarifying statement instead of deleting all social media comments and that forum post itself, no?

    What's your "I know I should(n't) be doing this"?

What's something you wish you started doing sooner/knew earlier in your fitness journey?

@colwyn I was lifting with way too little intensity (just counting the prescriped reps, not exhausting the muscle) and without focusing on mind-muscle connection. SO much wasted time, it's embarrassing🤦‍♀️

Mark Rippetoe thinks putting women in concentration camps is an "interesting take"

I'm not sure if this post is allowed but I think ya'll should know who (not) to support. There's this IG profile @you.look.like.a.man that calls out sexist and mysogynic comments on women in sports and this terrifying thing has been posted yesterday: Screenshot Full post on IG Text: Comment...

How to deal with missing out socially because of workouts?

@jrumsticks Yeah, same here. It's unusual for me and my friends to do something during the week. If I'm going out than it's mostly only concerts or cinema with my BF and with 3 workouts during the week (+1 on the weekend) I am flexible enough for that.

    What's your "I know I should(n't) be doing this"?

Hey everyone, just a fun question for Friday. What fitness-related thing are you guilty of? Like, always half-assing the same exercise, doing something that may annoy other people at the gym, buying that overpriced shake that simply tastes so great, and so on :) Edit: Soo many great replies, I...
