3 Years of Calisthenics (Lots of info)

@idkusername THIS IS ALL SUBJECTIVE ADVICE, I AM NOT A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL: Fixing my neck pain was about finding the right amount of doing nothing and doing too much. I spent a whole month not stretching, not working out, trying not to think about it, and it didn't help at all. I also on the...

@bibbigo I'm far from happy with my front lever, thanks for the input 😁. I'll be sure to make a post once the form is to my liking.

3 Years of Calisthenics (Lots of info)

@momto3 oh f*ck me, thats my bad. I was planning on testing my muscle ups and never got around to it, that was an aspiration 10 that I wrote down 😅. I did 3 sets of 5 bar after front lever training a few months back so I'm probably 7-10 the range but cant give you a concrete number. (Also...

@christina446 Holy shit, we've had wildly different experiences. Guess I'm a little short-sighted on this outside the states. You'll hate hearing this but its $20 a visit for me to see a PT. Soooo I offer you this shoulder and upper back rehab follow along I made for a buddy. It covers a lot of...

Every Push-Up Progression. THE Push Up Index

@welldoneministry Definitely going to be working hard to get as much content out as I can! Bit of a struggle balancing it with a full-time job, but no excuses!

1 Year Progress Post! (Lots of Info)

@fromgenesistorevelation You and me are on the same page! Front lever is beautiful and it's one of the things that's kept me so motivated to work out! I do almost exactly the same FL excercise but a single leg FL on the eccentric (almost same amount of total reps too!) Can't wait to see both...

1 Year Progress Post! (Lots of Info)

@fromgenesistorevelation Ugh don't get me started on front lever platues! Best thing for my FL training was to just focus on reps and sets at the gym. Every time I tested harder progressions, I was mostly disappointed (got stuck between one leg and straddle for a long time). Would highly...

2 Year Progress Post! (follow up)

@christina446 They were a few different levator scapula and scalene ones, I don't really want to share because IMO if someone is having this type of pain/problems they should see a professional. My PT also listened to stretches I was doing and gave great suggestions on what to avoid/stop...

3 Years of Calisthenics (Lots of info)

@kryslyne Yeah, my chiropractor was pretty much useless, but my PT changed my life. Definitely understanding where your head is on your shoulders throughout the day and while working out should help you, but actually getting the pain to completely go away is a bitch. Best wishes to you as well!

@nejtilsvampe this is the one I bought about a year ago. Seems like covid may have dwindled supplies of all of them.

3 Years of Calisthenics (Lots of info)

@kryslyne Thanks! Yes stretching Scalenes was definitely part of it. Just stretching everything out very lightly and working on posture. My physical therapist laid it all out for me and made a simple stretching routine that was super easy to follow. I cant for the life of me remember the exact...
