I can't afford enough protein to grow muscle

@mcl123 Its not all or nothing. Even if you are getting less than half your optimal protein (so 60 grams), you will still get a lot of benefit from weight lifting. It might take a little longer but that's all.

What are the best adjustable dumbbells for home use?

@mel101 I have Core Home Fitness dumbbells, they are great. Just feels like using a normal dumbbell. Also pretty cheap for adjustable dumbbells. Unfortunately they only go up to 50lb so you would likely max out on some lifts within 1-2 years. I would go with the 2nd gen Trulap dumbbells. They...

A friend of mine asked me if I was natural or if I took creatine

@gworden Either your friend has a ridiculously high bar for being natty (no protein powder either I'm assuming?) or they are misinformed about what creatine is.

Is it possible to reduce the gap in my chest, or is it just due to poor genetics?

@imalive Idk what you mean by poor genetics, it's just part of who you are. You look like you have a great physique.

I only want big arms. Not literally, I still am working out other muscle groups, but I want the biggest bulkiest arms. How do I get them?

@rose112165 I'm glad you asked for this clarification...I'm doing 40 lb dumbbell bicep curls & 30 lb dumbbell JM press after about 1.5 years of training. It was kind of disheartening to think I was looking at 20 years of training to get to 100 lb for those exercises!

Do you guys use any supplements?

@donnag Wow, you are a beast! I've only been lifting for 1.5 years so hopefully I can get there at some point.

@slingmama Why are my triceps so much weaker than my biceps though? I can do 40 lb bicep curls but only 30 lb if doing a JM press.

What are some good workouts for a man who’s overweight?

@or19937 Weight loss is mostly in the kitchen. At this stage, I would just focus on building healthy habits you can do more of later. Personally, I would forget about the gym for cardio and just get outside and go for walks. It will help you mentally. I would start on the basics on weight...

14 years old, 6’0 and don’t know where to get started to get big

@futaba For right now, focus on doing bodyweight exercises. Don't do weight lifting quite yet, give it another year or so to finish your growth. You can use a TDEE calculator to figure out how many calories you should be eating and the macros.

Is it true that if you are overweight you shouldn’t run?

@newcityn8 I would keep walking until you get to under 200lb. I would be concerned about the knees. Weight loss is mostly in the kitchen anyway so running is more to improve cardiac fitness.
