    @xxusaf1rexx Sounds like Calimove's workout A: reach 5x your max in as short time as possible. I usually do series of 4 with 40-50s pause in between (currently aiming for 55 reps in these workouts)

Im training more often than you seem to (3x upper body per week) and I tend to time my rests between sets as I am time constrained (wife and 2 small kids... not much life left lol) so cant really...

    @lucaannibale So whats the answer? Very slow progression? Proactively create "plateaus" in trsining to give time to connective tissues to get used to the load? I've always wondered how much time tendons and ligaments would need to adapt (Im 40yo)

    @childofgod49 Try out Calimove's 8 weeks pullup challenge. I increased my max from 8 to 14 in 10 weeks (took a deload every 4 weeks). Can be found on YT.
