    @marvindy hey, awsm link. thank you. (i was using the training bar - *laugh/sob* it's 35lbs - i got out some 2.5s and 5s hoping i could go heavier this week as i've been steady at 35 for three weeks now, probably why i was pushing speed)

Almost--but I don't always finish--maybe 85% of the time do I complete the series. My weight choices are mostly self-selected, nobody...

    @ckmddm Well that would be a relief. So do you hypothesize that the higher mechanical loads of adipose tissue (as opposed to lean muscle) may be protecting her bones.

    @ckmddm Can you get your MIL to do a bone density test? Then have 'the talk!' My mom *started* lifting at 70 ~ immediately following an osteopenia diagnosis. After a couple of years she could bench 92.5.
