7 months into lifting, feeling like I'm not doing good enough.

@kimdawnxo I agree, it's frustrating to struggle so much on it. I've watched a lot of videos on incline bench. My technique is alright although I've noticed that sometimes I subconsciously arch my back instead of driving it into the bench to stay flat. When I do drive into the bench to flatten...

@elliep78 Oh this is true, thank you I was doubting my incline press there lol.

@apphia That's true, consistency is key and all that. Thank you, I try not to sacrifice form and create the mind muscle connection but it's hard to balance going up in weight consistently whilst maintaining that connection as I find the heavier I go up the more momentum and other muscles are...

@preciousleslee Hey thank you. That's what I was thinking of moving onto when the 8 weeks finish. I heard training legs consistently helps with boosting testosterone, metabolism and stimulates blood flow for muscle repair etc so I'm aware of the importance of training legs. I'd love big quads to...

@delta4u That's true, guess I just have to have patience. One thing I will say is that my interpretation of what I could achieve naturally within 7 months of hard work is unrealistic. I blame this on social media tbh.

@sebastian713 Hey man, don't worry we all have our genetic hates. I store a lot of fat on my hips which doesn't look good either. It always looks worse when that area is the last place to go as everywhere else looks leaner in comparison which exaggerates it. You'll get there though keep pushing...

@joseph3561 In this upper/lower there is 7 exercises per session with 3 sets each and rep ranges vary from 5 to 15 depending on the lift. Bench could be 5, incline could be 8 reps, bicep curls could be 12, face pulls 15 etc.

@dawn16 Great thanks. I'm in the UK and have always wanted to get an at home testosterone finger prick test which I'd happily pay for although I have one problem.. I have an EXTREME phobia with blood. I'd freak out and pass out if I tried to do that on myself it's desperate, even if someone else...

@dawn16 Interesting, I struggle with fatigue daily and depression. What was your symptoms that lead you to getting them checked in the first place?

@mbch Thanks, I probably do need atleast a minimum of 3k to gain. I tend to eat these healthy ready meals that are only 600cal for lunch and dinner and they have ~40g protein per meal then I have a shake in the morning with oats, PB, whey, milk, banan etc and it's usually ~800-1000cal. Then I...

@supersr I suppose if you don't make mistakes you'll never learn from it which is part of the process! I guess we are always chasing our pump which is a sad reality lol

@supersr True, its hard to tell I lift in clothing especially since I wear oversized shirts a lot. I've had compliments on my weight loss but not muscle gain, I suppose it's only been the last few months I've upped my calorie intake so I can't expect to see results so soon on the muscle gain...

@fbrooks83 That's true, I had a deload week when I got covid a few weeks back although it isn't really a deload week if your already sick I guess. I've kind of tweaked something in my right shoulder/side arm area and noticed it in my upper session today so now may be a good time to atleast take...

@jcreigns That's true, because I was starting I still seen significant weekly increases in my lifts it's just slowing down a bit so I probably just have to eat a bit more as others have stated

@sebastian713 Yea exactly its just part of life now and as a male I feel like I owe it to myself to keep my body in check as it's a vessel which we are responsible for.

@tp243 This is something I've struggled with to comprehend. If protein is the muscle building macro then why are calories so important? I know that if you eat under maintenance your body will lose weight etc. I know that more Carbs means more energy which therefore means being able to lift...
