    6-week mini cut results

@cajunpita Not sure if it's a typo but it's actually just 1kg, even crazier.

    6-week mini cut results

@amberb Yep! I'm 163cm (5'4") and was 46kg (101.5lbs) at one point in my life and I looked softer than OP for sure. I was a classic skinny fat person, like I had literally never worked out regularly in my life before. I weigh 52kg (114.6lbs) and am way happier with how I look now.

Remember: You don't NEED Protein Powder (x-post /r/fitness)

@not_a_unicorn A friend of mine had bad acne, went on Accutane and it affected her back (it got weakened and she injured it working out one day), and her parents blame protein powder for all that, including the acne, even though she had it before she started taking any protein powder. Until now...

Study: Back Squat produces better glute growth than hip thrust

@pandacakes82 Thank you for the explanation!

Study: Back Squat produces better glute growth than hip thrust

@pandacakes82 How do you know if your glutes are/aren't activated? I know DOMS isn't a good indicator of a good workout, but is it a good indicator if your muscles were activated? I always get DOMS on my glutes (specifically the bottom part, like where the glutes meet the hamstrings) the day...

How do you incorporate pull up works into your routine?

@meteorstorm I feel like when I do this, I literally can do one good rep a day 😩 Like I can do this in the morning and get, say, a 15s negative. Then I'll do it in the afternoon and I legit would only be able to do a 3s negative like my body was still tired from that morning rep or sth. I...

Study: Back Squat produces better glute growth than hip thrust

@dawn16 Not OP and I don't really think hip thrusts are cheating, but I do feel like maybe one of the reasons it's loved is also because it's easier to make big progress on the number with HT compared to other lifts? There are people who can HT 200kg or 440lbs who might not be able to squat half...

My arms are impossible... any advice?

@andrewxk7 You've gotten a lot of super positive comment but I want to offer a realistic perspective. I kinda get where you're coming from. I kinda struggle with that mindset too bc in my mind when I think of someone who exercises I think of a lean athletic physique. Obviously like others have...

    The Elusive Pull-Up

@azazel420 Noob question that have been bugging me for so long: I am trying to do negatives but I find that when I jump to the top of the bar, my body will be swinging uncontrollably during the actual negative. Is this right? I sometimes use a short step/stool but most of the time I'm too lazy...

    [25 F] 59kg 168cm (130lbs 5'6") 24%BF dexa scan - To bulk or cut?

@dawn16 She's definitely good at posing (like many other fitness influencers). You can tell she is twisting her body so her waist looks smaller and her glutes are accentuated. I checked her IG and here's a recent post that shows her actual proportions more. Even in this one she is slightly...

Long Post Ahead...but my progress report after 5 months of no gym access--spoiler, gains were not all lost

@itiswellwithmysoul78 Omg that does sound insane. I gotta say I have always hated lunges but I find myself relying on them now for lower body bc air squats are too boring and one legged squats are too hard lol. But 400m on the sidewalk on a super hot day is like.. 🤯 I think that last part is...

Long Post Ahead...but my progress report after 5 months of no gym access--spoiler, gains were not all lost

@itiswellwithmysoul78 This is super awesome but if I'm super honest it's also not that surprising seeing how disciplined you still were with your home workout routine! I feel like most people who are worried about losing progress are ones who realise that they have been slacking, be it bc they...
