    Going to whine a little…

@ann72 Thank you everyone for your support!! I think protein (lack of) is the problem. I don’t eat a lot of meat, no dairy, 2 eggs a day most days, no protein supplements of any kind. I’ll start looking into that, and creatinine. And…drink more water!

    Going to whine a little…

@ann72 Definitely muscle soreness. I’m extremely careful about form (best as I can be), and I’d freak out if my joints hurt because my mom had double knee replacements and I certainly don’t want to have that!

    Going to whine a little…

@johnredeemed103 Just like muscle soreness, after sitting down, when I go to get up I’m stiff and it’s so painful, but once I’m up, I’m fine.

    Going to whine a little…

@alh I started looking on Amazon this morning for a protein powder that also has creatinine…every one I see has some type of sweetener like Stevia or Ace-K, which I can’t tolerate! They use words like “organic” or even say “no artificial sweeteners”. I’ll look into Isopure brand. Thank you!

    Going to whine a little…

@liz869802 Ok, hydration is definitely something I need to work on. I sleep great, 7-8 hours every night. I eat mostly clean, very little sugar, but I struggle to get enough protein. I cannot tolerate ANY artificial sweeteners, including stevia or monk fruit, and most protein shakes have...

    Going to whine a little…

@laterrainfot I do 30 minutes of cardio, (incline treadmill, elliptical), then I use dumbbells and kettlebells mostly. Different squats, isometric exercises, planks… Pain is definitely muscle soreness I work out 3-4 times a week, always rest day in between. I sleep great, 7-8 hours a night...

    Going to whine a little…

I know I’ll get flack for this but…I’ve been on my fitness journey for almost a year. I lift weights and do alot of exercises using dumbbells. I am in pain every single evening and day after my workouts. I’m very happy with my results, but is it normal to be in pain after EVERY single...

    Body fat too high?

@sanj79 Thank you! Good advice! I am extremely happy with my progress so far. I’m getting a little bored with my current routine but when I head down to Florida next month I belong to an actual gym, so I have more opportunities to do different things. I am able to attend group classes such as...

    Body fat too high?

@klonopin48 Thanks! I will start targeting my midsection. I’m so happy with my arms and back though, cannot wait for summer to show off a bit! 😊 I’ll try incline pushups. I get a lot of good exercise tips on TikTok. I’m really not interested in losing any more weight. I’ll just keep on what...

    Body fat too high?

@2kindsofsorrow Yes! You are so right about the general fitness level of the general population. My husband accuses me of “fat shaming” people when I comment about someone who’s gained a lot of weight, or someone in a restaurant eating a massive plate of food. My goal is to go into my “later”...
