    I don’t understand the direction this sub has taken in the past months.

    @darrendance Vegan has nothing to do with being natural. If someone wants to compete against the juiced up bodybuilders and show that we can do it the same, you gotta play the game. I will say though the increased steroid usage OVERALL with lifters is pretty alarming.

    Dr. Gregor says not to consume over 25 grams of soy protein per day. What are your thoughts?

    @ichthymom He doesn’t have any of the body goals that we do. He’s just trying to maintain longevity and be as disease resistant as possible.

    Is there any disadvantage in getting protein just from whole foods?

    @coreyd Saw a downvote which is dumb. The reality is that there are significantly more reliable proteins than others. Peanuts/peanut butter and seitan both have super low scores. Best bets for absorption are legumes/pea protein and tofu.
