@whitehorse You can tell the coaches who cover your most frequented classes that you hate having people look at you - it makes you anxious and uncomfortable. I know one of my gym friends fails all her PR attempts if she thinks she’s being watched. So I make sure no one looks (kinda). I’m sure...
@pdbcm I weigh more but have a lower BF%, and the best bloodwork I’ve ever had in my whole life (lower cholesterol now than I had at age 7), after 4 years of CrossFit. Some clothes look better on me, some look worse 🤷♀️
@bigboss424 Totally! If the other person is unchallenged, they should do extra reps, add more weight to the bar, add a weight vest etc. When our coaches brings their non-CF SOs to community workouts, they put a vest on and are sweating plenty.
@kara1991 Maybe your partner was annoyed, but any chance they weren’t and you just felt self conscious? I’ve been the slower one and the faster one in partner wods and I promise I haven’t been mad or annoyed at all when my partner needs more rest. Usually they can outlift me so more rest on...
@harrantion Always thrilled for some one to PR, whether they lift more or less than I do. I go to open gym and I see some people working on the same things for months. When it finally pays off? It makes me so happy
@oneiric1975 Loosing 5lb in 12 days suggests you’re not eating too much. Keep doing what you’re doing for another 4 weeks, see where your rate of loss settles as the first week usually isn’t representative. Readjust then. Don’t listen to your activity tracker calorie count.
