    Some questions

@zxczxczxc Nobody cares. I have seen a few young kids in the gym and thought nothing of it. Keep in mind, you are gonna grow because of puberty anyway, so don't get into steroids. Keep everything natural food. Chicken breast is more efficacious and cheaper than protein powder.

@slimshaky Looks like a cross fit training. Do main compound movements. Your own approach is far better.

Confuse between Multivitamin n D3 which one should I buy

@bukovica1986 Get a 60k iu liquid bottle from pharmacy. I took 5iu Inlife vit D and my vlood test showed huge decrease 70 to 27. Most supplements are fake in India. Get a pharma brand instead, because they are prescribed by docs and cant be faked because blood reports will tell.

    Fitness India Mega Thread!!

@huntbchsocal Chicken breast is cheaper than eggs for protein. 1kg Chicken breast in Punjab is 280 rupee which is, for 31gm protein per 100gm, 310gm protein. For 1 rupee you get 310/280gm = 1.1gm protein. Edit: At the same time prices keep changing. Chicken and eggs are still close in terms of...

    Confused about fat loss

@servantofyahshua We have one coach on reddit, he is also a moderator. I have heard good reviews about him. I personally prefer coaches in real life. I learned a lot from my coaches and it was worth the money.

Which protein to buy? Which reports to believe? Everything is so confusing

@wizycki I am sick of Liverdoc posts on our sub. There would be more lead and toxins in Indian drinking water. When Obama had to visit Delhi, they cancelled his flight because the pollution in Delhi was equivalent to smoking 40 cigarettes a day. Long time ago I was referred to "Thorn" supps...

    Confused about fat loss

@servantofyahshua Too many things wrong. Hire a coach mate. Looks like a bro split. Every beginner falls for a bro split, including me when I was a beginner. I am yet to see someone getting a six pack on "dal fulka" diet. You can manage to get enough protein from a vegan diet, but the cals blow...

Which protein to buy? Which reports to believe? Everything is so confusing

@rjsant Liver doc is a fuckin Idiot. He calls Turmeric and Ashwagandha liver toxic. Here: He took case study of 8 half dead grandpas, 3 of whom died and made a study out of it, published on his fake ass bullshit scientific journals.

Understanding the recent Protein Study - A detailed explanation

@igbokwe "Despite widescale use, ashwagandha is considered generally safe and without major adverse effects. In clinical trials, there have been no reports of serum enzyme elevations occurring during therapy and no mention of serious adverse events or hepatotoxicity."...

Beware of Flipkart, they sent me adulterated/tempered products

@tadhg haha yeah, I have heard of that story. Tbh, I have order random stuff every now and then from flipkart and never had this much quality issue. With Amazon, it's always been top quality.

Understanding the recent Protein Study - A detailed explanation

@colelr There was only one study by liverdoc which is not a study -- 8 case reports. I debunked that here https://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness_India/s/P7oTtQefYa

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@te15 IMO this is a controversial and ambiguous statement. The fibre and vitamins in fruits also counter obesity. Too much fruit juice might be bad. "Previous studies of the effects of fruit on obesity have shown that their anti-obesity effects are greater than their pro-obesity effects in...

Understanding the recent Protein Study - A detailed explanation

@its_namex Liver doc intentionally brings controversial stuff. As I mentioned in my previous comment in the similar prev post, he is not trustworthy, he calls turmeric, green tea and ashwagandha hapatotoxic in the introduction of the linked study.

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@te15 I also don't get why you suggest eating fruits in limit. They are not calorie dense, like bread. I see them like salad and use them to kill appetite sometimes.

Help please! How much calories should i take for lean muscle gain?Is US navy method correct for body fat?

@te15 I fully agree with this. I also agree with the fact that we Indians already have high saturated fat foods so avoiding butter/ghee is a good idea. But, I am mainly doubtful in terms of using Ghee as cooking oil for normal people who have normal LDL to HDL ratio. There's a podcast of...

    How to spot Fake natty

@rattikin It sets false expectations. My first coach was arguably enhanced, without me knowing that. He was competing professionally in bodybuilding shows and was 90-95kg ripped at age 22. He never disclosed that, but I thought that kind of physique is attainable with proper diet and training...

    Need guidance for weight loss

@lovesgod1964 What is this advise? You burn similar or even more calories in a bro split, if you overall volume in that session is similar. No. Do not eat fats pre workout. A simple google search: "It is customarily recommended that exercisers consume about 1 gram of carbohydrate per...
