    Pat Flynn’s Get Strong 10-5-3

@nj123 No idea but I do like these programs that rotate the main lift but still work on all of them on every training day. Added to Programs.

    Geoff Neupert Strength Standards

@franciscovelasco Sure, it probably is enough.

    Question on The Wolf Program

@curlysouffle That'd be a significant change to the program.

    The "Manly Physique" Protocol

@donnessa Well, you gotta be in pretty good shape to do that EMOM. And bumping presses from 20x5 to 24x5 usually doesn't work so well unless you are significantly submaximal. What's your max press? It's a reasonable looking program. I do think intensity information would be useful. You started...

    Rut buster? Diet advice?

@daisy_lane Sleep more. Eat less fast food or ultra-processed. What you eat can affect things but mostly fat loss is about eating less than you need.

Dry Fighting Weight (Single Bell) Questions

@harliee57 No, the actual program has rest between C&P and squats. But many choose to do it without it, but with a reclean before squats since you would do the clean if you had put the bells down.

    My next program

@frankgainey Looks interesting! How are the weights for the ballistics?

    Geoff Neupert Strength Standards

@snowlucario Did Geoff include explanations on why the 32 is the "strong enough" level? What I liked about Dan's standards is that I know quite a bit about Dan and who he coaches and so when he says "lifting this much is game changer for your sports" I definitely believe it. But the regular...

Dry Fighting Weight (Single Bell) Questions

@danixc Yes, you are supposed to use the same bells for everything. Since the one bell version is not part of the original, you can definitely do it however you want. The squats are "underbelled" with doubles too so you might want to do a squat for each side. Since you are using just one bell...

Another Dry Fighting Weight (DFW) review/results with 2x32kg

@nhope Yeah, the rest times will probably affect the results significantly in the beginning as you are gauging what's a good amount of rest.

    S&S or Q&D for a beginner?

@hulahooper Yes. S&S is better bang for buck when you are a beginner. And Q&D does require harder things, like explosive pushups.

    Let's Talk About Kettlebell HIIT

@lady_of_rohan Proper Tabata is from a different planet when compared to the Wingate. Tabata is over in 1.5 rounds of Wingate! And in fact this big difference makes HIIT a bit confusing. Tabata doesn't really let you rest, HR stays high all the time. Wingate's 4 minute rest should be enough for...

Another Dry Fighting Weight (DFW) review/results with 2x32kg

@nhope The reps are interesting, especially that days 1 and 3 competing for the highest number of reps. And confirms my thinking that day 2 is the light day.

    Opinion on a routine :)

@confundido Eventually you'll get there, but that's probably not the quickest route. It depends on the press and what kind of training works for your press. If you get enough volume with what you are doing, well, you are probably set, but if you need more then you might want to find a press...

    Let's Talk About Kettlebell HIIT

@lady_of_rohan I don't see how long rest dilutes the high intensity. AFAIK it's about intervals that are high intensity, not that the whole thing is high intensity all the time.

    Adjustable KB advice

@malaps I'd be wary of using a regular bell and a comp bell since the size difference can throw you off. But I haven't tried. Though the sizes are pretty similar at 28-32 kg so depending on what you mostly use, it might be not be too bad.

    The "Manly Physique" Protocol

@tythomasjr It's just press if there is no clean before each press.

    DFW first timer , questions

@caz911 You would go lighter rather than heavier for DFW if you are not quite on the spot. You are supposed to stay fresh (/1/) when doing it and 3 RM will be challenging. And you use the same weight for presses and squats. It is very normal to be able to squat heavier than one can press. Geoff...

Am I fit enough for a Kettlebell class?

@ulfric Depends on the class. Often kettlebell classes are cardio circuits and it might be hard even without a kettlebell if you haven't been training lately. But talk to the instructor and take breaks when you feel like it even if it seems like you are slacking. Maybe take the first time as...

    Let's Talk About Kettlebell HIIT

@firewatchduty I guess /@howardrf said that gains are bigger if you are close to the puke threshold. And I suppose that happens easiest if you are very fatigued. I'd like to learn more about alternative ways to reach the puke threshold by exercising. Can you push really hard without becoming...
