@lovely_krystal86 I do 2-3 sets and I stay 8-12(sometimes 15) reps.
So my reps increase with my sets because I drop the weight.
If I hit 8 reps on set one I’ll drop the weight 10% or so.
Might hit 8 or 9 reps second set. Then I drop another 10-15% and do a third set, to stay in my rep range...
@rijesusfreak I’m doing
- Chest triceps abs
- Back biceps hamstring
- Quads calves shoulders
Four day version of that is quads and calves by themselves and hams are done on shoulder day.
I think pros do well on bro/5 day splits because their massive bodies need longer to heal.

@jlrodriguez Technically 3 days done over 4.
Day 1 (1a)
Day 2
Day 1 again (1b)
Day 3
Off
Day 1 is weak point bodyparts. Optional Off Day between 1a and 1b.
I did "Push" on 1a, and delts then chest (in that order) on 1b. 1a is chest, delts, triceps.
@audreyann Yeah he said it was like his favorite program. Used it 1983 to 1985 while he was still natty.
It, or a variation, will probably be my next off-season program, 1, 2, Off, repeat. Extra days off as needed.
@michaelsouby Dorian yates 2 day split is a favorite of mine:
Chest, back, delts
Legs, Arms
I've tweaked it a bit:
Chest, back, hams
Quads, delts, arms
@brklynflp I would do 1A, 2A, 1B, 2B.
So like, Upper 1A, Lower 2A, Upper 1B, Lower 2B.
So if you bench on Wednesday, you can do Incline Bench on the Friday. Same but different.
Or you can do same workouts but 6-8 range the one day, and 12-15 the other.
@livingme7 My RIRs are in the 1s and 0s on most things except like quad stuff, deadlifts etc.
RIR the fuck out of some bicep curls, sure. But on a leg press my head will pop before my legs quit. On those things I go higher volume and often 3/4 reps to keep it TUT instead.
