    5x5 w/ KBs

@artlicbunny If you build your own stuff based on RP's recommendations, you're probably not on the completely wrong track. But I'm fairly certain you'd do even better if you were to follow one of their actual programs for at least a couple of mesocycles, just to see what it all looks like in...

    Opinion on a routine :)

@confundido The limiting factor for an ABC with double 40s is probably the press, so at some point you'll need to do something that's about as hard as the press itself. That means lots and lots of reps. Building work capacity with lots of low-rep sets is cool, but at least once a week you...

RowErg + SS, DFW or a mix of both?

@danbranson You could take some inspiration from DFW Remix. That's 6 workouts a week - 3 DFW workouts and 3 Remix days with pullups/rows + swings. You could also add some chest work to the Remix days (or do them instead of swings). The number of Remix days can be scaled as needed, but you...

    Giantkiller Review

@lbeebe48 Oh, absolutely. In terms of time efficiency, you may want the squats, rows and pullups in there as well. That being said, I don't think there's an issue with dropping some exercises for a bit while specialising on some other stuff. I've heard people reporting their squats improving...

    5x5 w/ KBs

@hapeaten It's wild how much of a difference it can make. Even just using a program as a base, or combining programs for different movements. I did my own thing for years, which worked pretty well for some things (single kb strict press, chinups), but didn't really for a lot of other things...

    Pressing Standards Parallels?

@wezo777 Single kb presses are definitely a special case. My own rule of thumb has always been that if I could strict press a weight for 10 reps I'd make the next 8kg jump. So far it's worked out fine, but 40 and 48 have required increasing amounts of lean to make it work. Sweet mentioned about...

    Giantkiller Review

@lbeebe48 Excellent review, and great progress! You're right on for The Giant for front squats. I'm doing it myself, and it works really well. I did it for double snatches as well, before starting KSK. With regards to the junk volume thing, I'm not entirely sure I believe such a thing exists...

    Revise weight jumps on S&S

@saved_by_grace82 It's been years since I last grappled, so I won't rule that out. Still, S&S is an easy program. And if things get tough, you can always make it an even easier day and just focus on precise execution.

    5x5 w/ KBs

@missingthemark LP'ing like that will work for a bit. Once you stall, don't deload and keep grinding - switch to an actual kb program. The hypertrophy range is a LOT wider than that.

Is S&S really enough? Read mor for context. Im pretty new to this fitness thing

@griv72 Sorry, this got a bit long. In short, I don't think S&S covers most of your bases. In fact, I think it even misses or neglects half of them, while RoP by the sounds of it fixes most of my issues. I haven't read EtK, so I can't speak to that - but in my opinion RoP sounds like a way...

DFW completed - female perspective - 2x12 kg are still plenty

@m2j9 You made pretty decent progress in a deficit. That's a win for sure. You could absolutely run DFW again, or DFW Remix if you have the time to train on non-DFW days. If you want to prioritise your press, The Giant is a collection of pure clean & press programs that work off a 5RM (3.0) and...

    A Giant WTF (Program Review)

@inspiringmedia Great job! It's such an awesome program. I didn't test before The Giant, but I went from an assumed 2x28 for 10 reps and 2x32 for 5 to 2x28 for 16 and 2x32 for 11. So I don't think your results are too wacky - it's just a good program! If you're more into DFW you could see if...

    Increasing to 10RM

@youngman4god You could run a press 5RM program like Dry Fighting Weight or The Giant. Alternatively, use push press. Since The Giant X also uses push press, you could use jerks too (replacing strict press with push press, and push press with jerks). Unless The Giant X also uses jerks, then it...

Is S&S really enough? Read mor for context. Im pretty new to this fitness thing

@mr_loevinger I don't like S&S as a standalone program. No chest or biceps, little to no back and triceps work. In my opinion, the bread and butter of kettlebell training is clean, press and squat, preferably with doubles. Press can be substituted with push press or jerk. If I were to add...

    Revise weight jumps on S&S

@saved_by_grace82 I missed the club portion. Still, I don't think S&S is draining enough to really classify as a workout.

    The Giant

@snowlucario It's wild. You get a couple of weeks into 1.0 and wonder how 1.1 and 1.2 will yield any reasonable amount of volume. Then you do it, and it's hard, but definitely doable. I feel like the jump is actually a feature.

    The Giant

@kikelomo 30 if you can. 20 if you must. The Giant is excellent. I you run 1.0-1.2 you can run 3.0 with the 24s for sure, maybe even 1.0.

    Tips on creating workout plan

@mattt I've done The Giant with 2x32kg, The Giant for front squat with 2x32kg, and The Giant for snatch with 2x24kg at the same time. What would constitute too few reps or sets of C&P?

    Revise weight jumps on S&S

@climpah I haven't done TGUs as a main exercise in years, but I'll occasionally do some 32kg ones as a warmup. Honestly, the main thing that got me better at them was getting better at clean & press and front squats. But especially the press.
