    I’m only about 8 weeks into weight lifting and I’m crazy stiff. Does anyone have a stretching or yoga routine that they can share?

    @melissa75 I bought a foam roller on Amazon for less than $20 and I use it for about 5 min before and after a workout, and on rest days if I feel sore. Also great for cracking my back!

    @athleteto For me it’s not so much the amount of calories as the macros; I slim down when I eat more protein and less carbs.

    @jcsista6155 Same, I have free oversized t-shirts dating back to middle school and I’m 34 😂 besides as pajamas, I use them to dry my hair! Apparently it’s gentler than using a towel

    First time leaving the house in 6 months - went to the gym!

    @robertadico The machines usually have a label with their name and a diagram showing how to use it, but I tend to just look at the name and then search a YouTube video of someone explaining/demonstrating how to use it.

    Protein intake on rest days?

    @truthisfreedom You should definitely try to hit that protein goal every day; protein is just as important on recovery days. Maybe you could rework your food budget so that you’re buying more protein and less of other macros (carbs, etc.). Are you mainly getting your protein from powders/shakes...

    @taryn12 My secret as well, so much easier to lose weight and keep it off after I stopped drinking
