Honestly feel like the protein numbers that are given regularly are complete bullshit

@bronsontaur No. You will notice a significant difference between 200g and 70g of protein intake a day. It’s also incredibly easy to hit that if you’re cooking your own food. No need for protein powder.

    Body exercises for the obese?

@nickale I have found the the CrossFit At-Home series is wonderful for older and/or obese adults alike. I would give it a looksee. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdWvFCOAvyr2je51OXZODVtlYARi0P-D4

6 MONTHS PROGRESS - No before photo :(

@aggeliki96 That's literally what I was saying about the before photo. He could have been very close to this before and we wouldn't even know it. Also with gear you tend to have pretty common tells, noticably the delts which have a huge amount of androgen receptors compared to other muscle so...

    Why couldn’t I do a single pull-up?

@pablob Poor posture can definitely effect developing the muscle groups that are most important for pull ups and chin ups, but especially pull ups. It can be really easy to accidentally use your biceps in a lot of back training movements without realizing it, especially with bad posture. Focus...

How do I run in zone 2?

@rbrbrb2 You can look into other training programs too. There are some built off feel rather than distance and zones. For example run for 30 minutes easy pace instead of run 4 miles in zone 2. I do think you're paying too much attention to it. How does running for hours with a heart rate of...

Kid refused to spot me today, so I returned the favor

@temirlan Nah, sometimes people learn better the hard way and this is what happened here. Most 17 year olds aren't self aware enough to model someones good behaviour in the gym, and OP will just serve to enable their shitty behaviour.

Sunday Show Off - The thread where every thing you share is considered badass!

@groo101 Mostly it's been just a normal pull-up progression, then what archers I can at end. A friend did one, and I couldn't do normal pull-ups due to the shoulder, but though I'd try that, and it went pretty well.

@nickale No problem! Lol I hope you have as much fun as I do with it

6 MONTHS PROGRESS - No before photo :(

@aggeliki96 You're joking right? I know the reddit default is to scream juicy anytime someone is ripped, but this guy is not one to trigger that. He's very lean, but he doesn't have that much muscle and no before photo to compare it to. Great genetics probably, but steroids? Nah

Please don’t kip in your handstand push ups

@channel7 I disagree, I can do both and never had any problems with Kipping but when I burn out on strict I’ve crashed and burned on my noggin a few times.

r/bodyweightfitness, it has taken me quite a while to put together this infographic. I hope you find it useful!

@bonnieb So this is still vague in how often and of what exercises you do. It is whatever exercise in each vertical column 3 times a day?

How do I run in zone 2?

@rbrbrb2 It's not about the anxiety and stress, although if it is causing anxiety or stress I'm going to double down on losing the watch. It's about the fact that we allow these watches to tell us whether or not we had an "easy" run or not. We allow them to tell us when we've run far enough...
