    Weighted Vest Discussion + Help: For those who have owned/used weighted vests in the past which features should be avoided and which are must haves?

    @dinkold I'm using the Master Fitness B.C Weighted vest, I got 18 1.1kg weights which can be inserted and secured by velcro straps in little pockets. It's nice and stays secure if I pull the waist band tight. So far no complaints :)

    @geekfreak At this point I'm aiming for something complete. S&S seems like a good starting point though. If you deload using it, what's your normal program?

    @grigor Aha, thanks! I was thinking of starting out with one at 16kg and one at 20kg, so over 32 might be a while :)

    @grigor Huh, that's interesting. There doesn't seem to be much pull movements for the back to compensate for the chest but maybe I'm missing something?
