    @1stbrownhorse Those big compound lifts if you are strength training take that long for recovery. Now if you’re doing 8+ reps then you should only need 30-90 seconds. If you’re under that for reps then take your 3-5 mins. But let them work in if they want. Just be sure to mention you are timing...

    @james512 How tall are you? You may find the sumo or hex bar deadlift to be more comfortable if you're on the tall side or have long femurs.

It would measure body fat that you could possibly lose normally not “body fat” that could only be lost by cutting off your ears or nose.
