@johnacola So just to make sure I’m understanding your split, you do: Monday UA, LA, UB; Wednesday LB, UA, LA; Friday (go back to monday) UA, LA, UB. Is this right?

Has anyone had a silly “lightbulb” moment while exercising?

@takkula Very good point! I love riding my bike for the same exact reason, also not sure why I torture myself while running.

Has anyone had a silly “lightbulb” moment while exercising?

@leon007 This could probably be an “ah-ha” moment for me too. I hate running because I’m always feeling like I’m out of breath/exhausted. I’ve read a few times on this subreddit to try running slower. I just need to get over that mindset hump of “I’m going to hate this”.

Has anyone had a silly “lightbulb” moment while exercising?

@dawn16 Ugh, yes this is a good one! I immediately thought of my sister who uses the smith machine for squats. She goes to PF, so it’s all she has and not her fault at all, but I would love to bring her to my gym and use the squat rack and barbell. Such a difference! If you have access to these...

Has anyone had a silly “lightbulb” moment while exercising?

@heyitszeus I love walking in my city too! I try to go for a few short walks throughout my work day and listen to different podcasts. Since I’ve been implementing this (on top of my lifting schedule) I easily hit more than 10K steps a day. It also helps my mental health too.

Has anyone had a silly “lightbulb” moment while exercising?

@3rdday I was using 5 steppers on each side with the platform on top of it and lowered it to 3 on each side and it was instantly better!

Has anyone had a silly “lightbulb” moment while exercising?

Today while I was lifting, I had a “oh, duh!” moment and had to half roll my eyes at myself and half be thrilled that it finally clicked. I’ve been lifting consistently for ~8 years, but recently really started focusing on strengthening my glutes over the past year. Hip thrusts are obviously a...

@johnacola Wooooow, I am so impressed. I am basically your exact size: 110lbs and 5’2 and basically should follow exactly what you did. I need to take my shit seriously if I want to see these results. Even a small bite of ice cream or whatever your go to treat is makes a huge difference. You...
