Do you have to have a structured workout routine to see results? Can I wing it every day and still experience the benefits of strength training?

@djj1973 Curious about the difference you feel doing that — is it significant? Do you feel more strong/stable/capable in general, or is it just less hard to lift the weights you have? Have you noticed any visible effects from the strength exercises you’ve done? I don’t really have a defined...

    Suggesting please

@hic_sunt_leones A surplus of calories causes weight gain, not the macronutrients that you eat. You might be eating more than you need in a day cause your macronutrients are outta wack

Do you have to have a structured workout routine to see results? Can I wing it every day and still experience the benefits of strength training?

@abastzar I’m in a calorie deficit for aesthetics, working out for health benefits lol. I assume I won’t ever be shredded and I’m not really interested in that as a goal, but I do want to feel stronger/more flexible/more capable and if I suspect if I build on that foundation I might be more...

@hic_sunt_leones If you're craving butter and yogurt maybe you need more fat in your diet? Keeping vegan yogurt around might help too. A lot of vegans eat very low fat naturally but fat is highly satiating so making a point to incorporating it can help. Not sure how starting a family ties into...

Do you have to have a structured workout routine to see results? Can I wing it every day and still experience the benefits of strength training?

I know this is probably a silly question. I’ve tried to get into strength training many times (I’ve tried the gym, machines, body weight exercises, and exercise bands… the only things I’ve really cared for are body weight and band exercises). Every time, I inevitably get bogged down trying to...

A weird trick I just discovered

@shieldofangels Personally I haven’t, I don’t think multivitamins do much TBH but that’s just me 😂 I will say unless you’re deficient, you probably shouldn’t supplement with iron cause you can OD more easily on that

@netty805 1 tablet. I just follow the dose recommendation on the bottle which says 1-2 tablets per day, preferably with a meal.

@forgivinghearts Interesting! Mines from natures bounty, I’m not sure how much it matters though

A weird trick I just discovered

@giftofgod2 Oh man that’s smart to cut it up. I do notice a big change in energy levels and I’ve also since noticed that energy drinks typically have hella B vitamins in them too, which probably is what makes them work! Weird question but…I wonder if you’ve noticed your pee is an insane color...

hello. trying to lose weight/ fat. struggling hard, so any help is appreciated

@johnprin You also could cut to 1400-1300 if you feel like 1200 is too dramatic. A 250 cal deficit is very common for petite people and definitely enough to see results, you don’t have to go all the way to a 4 or 500 deficit

A weird trick I just discovered

Apparently taking your B vitamins can help with appetite. I started taking a B complex every day recently for reasons unrelated to weight loss (mostly related to my hair lol). I know the topic of vitamins can be controversial and many people say there’s no point to them, but… I noticed ever...
