[PROGRESS] I was told I should x-post this here from /r/progresspics. 7 months of dirty bulking

@sparkloveskittehs 20/4 always. I love it. It's so much easier and more satisfying. I would put BCAA's in a gallon of water during the day and drink it though. BCAA's cause an insulin response which keeps me anabolic. I think that's part of the reason why I was able to have pretty decent gains...

[PROGRESS] I was told I should x-post this here from /r/progresspics. 7 months of dirty bulking

@sparkloveskittehs Thanks :) It was pretty easy to go from bulking to cutting for me. I think doing 20/4 makes a huge difference. I was sick of going to bed stuffed. Now I just go to bed full instead of pregnant with a food baby.

@sakiturn It's funny, I still picture myself as 135lbs of skinny fat (before both of those pictures). I often underestimate my size in relation to other people. Clothes are a gigantic pain in the ass. Nothing fits well. Shirts are always too tight around the armpit and slim fit is out of the...

@vidasolitaria Thanks. I started out lifting because I had lost weight and realized I had no muscle. If I can get leaner (and bigger) I'd consider competing. I wouldn't want to do figure since those girls are pretty tiny, but I could get down with bodybuilding.

@iwish Thanks. I don't remember my exact lifts at the time but I had started lifting about 4 months before my first pic so I'll just post my starting and current numbers. Before lifts Bench: 55lbs Squat: 95lbs Dead lift: 135lbs Current lifts Bench: 105lbs Squat: 215lbs Dead lift: 205lbs...

@erickem I made some good recipes that are egg white based. I posted a few to /r/fitmeals like a coconut cake recipe and chocolate or maple cinnamon crepes. Pizza is also good. I just put a little sauce on a low carb pita (which is already 40% calories from protein anyway) and load it up with...

[PROGRESS] I was told I should x-post this here from /r/progresspics. 7 months of dirty bulking

@erickem My rule is to never take weight off the bar. Part of the reason I've been playing around with my reps/sets is because I lift my max at least once every couple weeks for my bench, squat, and dead lift. It's fine to decrease volume but you never want to lose strength. So many people see...

@pattidawn Right now I'm on 1200 calories to cut. My biggest tip as a beginner is to keep frequency high. As a beginner, you won't be lifting super heavy weights and your body isn't used to what you're asking it to do. It makes sense when you think about it like this: Who needs more recovery...

@alejandra79 I'm 21. I don't think I have any recent pictures of me standing next to other people. I just finished school about a month ago so I was fairly sedentary. I'm about to start working as a personal trainer so I should be a little more active. My calories were just whatever. Eat enough...

@dawn16 I started taking the pill really young (when I was 12) and now even when I don't take it I don't have periods. My gyno checked me out and everything appears normal. I don't want to have kids anyway so I'm not super concerned about it.

@aj1984 My main sources of protein are egg whites and cheese. I was flexible with calories. With bulking you just have to eat a lot. 20/4 just seemed the most natural for me. I think my hormones may have been (positively) affected by IF. I already don't have periods but I feel like my...

Here's February to September gains. I'm 5'8" and went from a twiggy 107 to a respectable 144lbs in 7 months. My leg pic gains are only from February to June since I haven't taken recent leg pics but there's a fair amount of progress in those four months. My legs have only gained maybe an inch...
