Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@sweetkf adjusting to eating more because you have a much higher TDEE is a completely different mentality to having to adjust to eating less. that’s literally the opposite concept of what this post is about. it’s not “perspective”

Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@sweetkf i think the point OP is making is that average height people don’t have to adjust their portion sizes like we do and be as mindful about overeating

Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@rivendoah i eventually got my regular appetite back but never gained weight from it like i did other meds. it didn’t change to an increased appetite, just my typical one edit: typo

@hisjourney ah that’s rough, not worth it then unless the rash would have only been temporary

Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@hisjourney i’ve had a long history of psych medications and some of them made me gain a ton of weight. i’m currently on wellbutrin which actually helped suppress my appetite when i first started taking it. obviously between you and your doctor what is best for you but that is a medication that...

Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@honra75 isn’t it also true that it takes like 15 mins or something for our bodies to feel full after eating? whatever the number is, i feel like that’s enough time for an average height person to finish a typical portion sized meal and not over-eat while waiting to feel full. but like you said...

Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@kabriana oh yikes i didn’t know that!! i know with my car that if i want my seat close enough for my feet to reach the pedals my knees are practically touching the panel under the steering wheel which is annoying. and don’t get me started on never being able to reach top shelves in the grocery...

Frustrated about body size and TDEE

@johnjs37 i have thought this as well. and it’s not just portion sizes at restaurants. it’s also the serving sizes on nutrition fact labels that are based on 2000 calories a day

I’m so burned out of calorie counting. Has anyone had success with taking a break?

@slant i second the person above! i lost 100 lbs from CICO with minimal exercise but i always gave myself the weekends off. didn’t go crazy on the weekends but just didn’t let myself worry out about counting

How do you get 100+ grams of protein per day?

@jarjj70 if you make it, definitely include the water. the isolate powder makes it super thick without water
