Summer Cut: 5'3/140--130 Ladies Group Chat

@dawn16 YUPPP. Ran my first half at ~125lbs and did it in 2:02. My last half (in my defense I ran a 5k beforehand for a total of 26.1k) was a measley 2:17. At ~135lbs. I'm only doing 10 and 15k races this season but I really want to get back to my sub 55 min 10ks!

Strength-Based Women's Workout Plan Guide - At Home (no HIIT) & At Gym

@criminallawyer03 Seconded! SBTD also comes with an awesome community of Strong Strong friends (via a Facebook group). It is a welcoming environment where we celebrate achievements, help each other through obstacles, and sometimes commiserate on particular aspects of programing (spoiler...

    Progress pics: 5'2, 138 to 121 in ~9 weeks (long, with TL;DR)

@proud_mama_2009 Woah I feel like there's so many of us in this boat. I'm 5 foot 2.5 (YES! that .5 matters!!) and was 123 (but no muscle) at my lowest. I had lost 50 lbs at that point. I started focusing on muscle gain but inevitably gained fat too. that, and getting more "relaxed" about healthy...

AMA: Megan Gallagher AKA MegSquats, creator of Stronger By The Day and Before The Barbell!

@susanedgar37 Hey Meg! Big fan and been loving SBTD for over a year now. I have really seen some consistent achievements in my power and strength. My favourite achievements are my upper body (Bench and OHP) PRs, but my all time PR on deadlift was also a nice confidence boost. Question: do you...

@yishae DON'T.GIVE.UP. I'm 5'2", 27, and was 36.6% BF to start with, hovering around 135-138 lbs. I've been on a cut and have worked my ass off for the last 2.5 months and at 127lbs, was still 33% BF!!! Here's my DEXA post (with pics) for reference. I know you didn't post any pics, but girl...

I can’t even do a wall push. Not even one

@alidvx 2 second plank is something! Work your way up to 5. Then, next week, 10 seconds. Then 15. Soon you'll be at 30 seconds, which is a great core strength indicator. You got this! Keep going! Also, make sure you're doing a good form plank. A lot of people will get too focused on keeping...

6 month DEXA update! 31% to 25.7% BF

@7an13l eee this is inspiring! I just scheduled my second DEXA in a couple of weeks. It's technically been 7 months since my first scan but within that period I took a month-long chaotic family vacation + chaotic christmas/NYE break where I did not stay no track soo I'm hoping for some reduction...

    3 Month Progress Measured with DEXA Scan: 28, 5'4", 145 lbs, 30.6%

@divinenature This is awesome! I just booked myself a DEXA as a birthday present to myself in May. I've been on a steady cut since mid-Jan, so hopefully I can keep it up until May. This is after lifting all winter. I'm slowly transitioning into running season (next 10k in 4 weeks) sooo it'll be...
