5’3” ladies over 30, what are your maintenance calories and activity level?

@freds I'm 41 and solidly into perimenopause (had my uterus and part of an ovary out last year which rushed things along a bit). 5'3.5", 130, maintained on 1700 with occasional bodyweight exercises and rock climbing 2-3 days a week.

Went down two whole pant sizes!

@ivan777 The pants/shorts in my closet that fit me range from 0-6 (the 6s are from the same store I usually wear a 2!!) and 28"-34". I sometimes wish I had "going down a size" as an occasional milestone, but those numbers seem totally irrelevant to my body. :(

@notaperfectchristian This is an awfully broad "one" but, in general, anything that claims one specific food (or type of food) is responsible for or the solution to all your problems makes me happy when it goes away. At various points in my life eggs, pasta, red meat, margarine (probably...

Petites who has successfully lost those last ~5-10lbs, did it make a significant difference in your body?

@dassahjoy This is exactly the opposite of answering your question, but I gave up on those "last 5 lbs" and started dedicating more time to muscle and gradually added more protein and veg to my portions at dinner. My portion sizes feel much more sustainable (those "last 5 lbs" meals had me...
