    I’m the crying girl

@whitehorse It is also ok to not build weight so fast, no up box height so fast. Stay with the things that build your confidence. If you have scaled too light, work faster. You will still get a great workout and keep the confidence high!

Ugh. Didn’t complete the scaled version and feel like a failure

@ilovejesus56129 Id watch Mayhems tips video before retrying - they focus on more hip hinge and legs/glutes on each snatch. Also sounds like your burpees may need to start slower so you don’t redline and feel like you need to rest.

    24.1 and ego

@mike24 The Open is about testing yourself, pushing harder than you do in any other workout(s) of the year, learning and maybe repeating a workout based on what you learned.

New to crossfit - and it's kicking my ass!

@smarch About a yr into my crossfit journey (2019) I heard Ben Bergeron say “if you aren’t finishing the WOD at a faster pace than you started it, then you paced it wrong” — that has been so helpful to me, never start so hot you crawl across the finish, better to pick up speed bc you saved some...

Box Owners, please monitor your “contact us” mailboxes and forms

@sharzid OP didn’t reference any messaging on the contact page (24 hr response time). If it tells me on the form that it could be 24 hrs then I have no issue at all waiting the communicated timeline. That is a fair expectation creation. The sense I got from OP is that he was simply disregarded...

Box Owners, please monitor your “contact us” mailboxes and forms

@ceecee111613 Guilty as charged. Yes it is a very American pov. I will certainly accept that other countries/cultures wouldn’t have the same expectation.

Box Owners, please monitor your “contact us” mailboxes and forms

@rovella I expect promptness from anyone who wants to grow their business. OP is communicating that failing to respond promptly or at all communicates that your box is full and you don’t want or need additional revenue. I would suspect when that box was new and only had twenty members, someone...

Box Owners, please monitor your “contact us” mailboxes and forms

@rovella In an age when the owner or GM can set that email account up on their phone and be notified anytime an email comes in this makes no sense to me.

Box Owners, please monitor your “contact us” mailboxes and forms

@sharzid How many emails are you receiving in a day? Taking up to 24 hrs to respond seems very slow to me as a consumer.
