Getting a gym membership today and I’m already anxious and embarrassed

@joanie59 If you get the vibe they're rude or pushy then try a different gym instead! Chances are they just want to sell you a membership and leave you alone after.

A question for runners with thick thighs

@pennypule Are they tight around the butt when you run? Booty eats clothes lol. I have to wear thongs when I do intense cardio because stuff like boyshorts always get displaced. The only shorts that don't ride up for me are baggy and have a built in underwear thing. Come to think of it, I...

A question for runners with thick thighs

@canadarose Anything tight and/or short is going to ride up. Have you tried looser fits like basketball shorts? If you're looking for compression for running, I think leggings/capris would be better; you could always wear shorts over.

A question for runners with thick thighs

@timothysir Try slightly longer, looser shorts. Those look a tad too fitted for running--totally fine for yoga or walking around, but heavy duty exercise like running will definitely cause tight shorts to ride up. Edit: OP, try loose running shorts with built in underwear, that's the only type...

    Great video about bloating

@400596rd Which makes me wonder how an elimination diet is supposed to help if you want to eat stuff like legumes... Because logically you'd have to eat lots of beans for your stomach to acclimate right?

    Great video about bloating

@cabeyta I spent a couple months in Japan and had the same experience. I never really gave it much thought until now, but I remember having such bad constipation there that the toilet bowl was usually bloody. I could handle beans okay before I did AIP, but now my symptoms are so bad they I've...

    Great video about bloating

@cabeyta Are you able to eat normal foods now? I tried AIP diet for a couple months (obviously not long enough, just wanted to see if symptoms improved) and the only thing that happened was I'm even MORE allergic to foods I used to tolerate well lol.

    Great video about bloating

@dawn16 Speaking of bloating, how much do you guys fart in any given hour of any given day? I feel like I'm passing little bits of gas every fifteen minutes lol. It's usually not smelly so I don't mind, but I'm probably producing more methane than a cow.

Can I achieve a better aesthetic with body weight exercises only?

@tianguis You can gain muscle and lose weight doing practically any exercise if you stick to it. The problem is sticking to it. I would highly recommend getting a gym membership and getting a few personal trainer sessions to help demystify the equipment :). Correct form is imperative for body...

Roughly a year’s worth of progress: not a whole world’s difference, but I’ve come such a long way

@sickofallthelies You may not think your progress is visible but I can absolutely see your muscles even if they're not visibly defined (and very few women would have visibly defined back muscles anyway!)

My 4 month recomp effort after 2 year pandemic hiatus

@denise4god As someone who also took a two year pandemic hiatus and lost all muscle definition, this is very motivating. Great work recovering your gains!

Lifting is a women's bestfriend for getting toned. (-5lbs, 19.5% bodyfat)

@dawn16 I would do small steps first. I also get migraines as my primary sign of hunger (aside from just a rumbling stomach). You definitely don't need to do anything as extreme as not eat at all for two whole days, you can just alter your daily window for eating (eg like 10-6 each day).
