@lovinjesus4ever This makes sense! I will try using some more of these methods.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@lovinjesus4ever This might be where I am lacking. I don’t understand the recovery process all too well. I’m also nervous let’s say reducing working out by a day due to not wanting to lose this rhythm and getting into bad habits.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@aaronmark I am gut heavy and lean everywhere else. Before my pants were at a 38 and now at a 36 probably. A 32-34 would be nice. I’m just concerned about my gut, I’m probably 40-42 inches.

@jennielynn430 Yes I must have a lot of visceral fat, my levels showed fatty liver disease, which has decreased in a more recent blood exam.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@snoober I agree, I’m going to see where I am at around the 240-250 mark and see. My weight just bulks up on my gut and I am fairly lean everywhere else so I might just feel great when I don’t see it bulging out anymore.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@zoba Makes sense if I wasn’t enjoying fitness so much now I wouldn’t want to do more. I also don’t want to burn out. You may be right 5 months is not enough time and I honestly wasn’t expecting to be where I am at physically at 5 months but I have gotten the taste for progress and just want...

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@suzannetocher It will be taxing but I plan to gradually increase, when I started my fitness journey I went from 3 day to 6 days a week gradually between a 2 month span.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@nkululeko I’m finding it difficult to eat enough on occasion, to hit that protein count of 250g+, I also don’t enjoy protein shakes unless they are blended heavily with fruits. I gained weight from sugar intake. I used to be able to kill 1.5L plus of soda daily.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@alpacaone I agree, I think I might just need more cardio and to hit more of a caloric deficit. I’m focused on hitting protein macros but at my weight and height I feel it gets difficult.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@theological1988 Trouble with the amount of food. I got big, mainly from sugar intake, not so much from the amount of food itself. I can’t pack away that much food. Eating the meal can feel like a chore sometimes, even though I want to and know it’s beneficial.

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

@eligp1240 Thanks for the reply. Reasons I started CrossFit was for an increase in cardiovascular, strength and aesthetics. I agree with the nutrition coach option and will look into it, that was a major recommendation from my doctor when I started. Although I do eat 100x healthier than before...

I have my goals changing consistently and I don’t know where I want to go with my health journey

Hey all, I’ve been doing CrossFit for 5 Months now. It’s been tough but rewarding. I (m29) hadn’t worked out in 8 years and hadn’t done much activity since 2020. Basically just living a sedentary lifestyle filled with bad habits and unachievable goals. I Ballooned in weight and went from 240lbs...
