    Wall-E Wednesday (diet discussions)

@jesusdaughter155 Judging by my grandparents, they ate less, they did more manual labor, and they smoked and drank, which curbed appetite. And of course the modern diet where too many people eat stuff out of boxes and almost everything from restaurants is crazy high in calories. I can make...

Study: Back Squat produces better glute growth than hip thrust

@rovanpenny If you like being choked, the front squat is for you. /s Start really light if you want to try it, it takes some getting used to and you might need to work on flexibility to get your shoulders up high enough. The fronts of your shoulders (front delts) might get sore from the...

Remember: You don't NEED Protein Powder (x-post /r/fitness)

@ravenblue I was wondering about McDonalds little burgers when I posted so your response made me go look. You are correct: The little McDonalds Hamburgers are 12g, Cheeseburgers 15g. I am sure there are protein supplements out there that are 36g for one serving but I do think saying the same...

    Fat, or loose skin?

@tedpolaris I don't have personal experience of that much weight loss but based on my reading of other people's /r/progresspics and comments there: I feel like if you just lost 100 pounds, it's loose skin and it will take some time to tighten up. I think 5' 10" and below 155 might be low...

6 month DEXA update! 31% to 25.7% BF

@dawn16 Yes. I thought I would die at first. At least for me, it got easier after the first 5 minutes so at first I knew I had to push through that. I start 4 levels higher now than I used to and go up from there. The first 5 minutes is no longer hard but I start getting crazy sweaty around...

[Update] "Squat form check please :)" + bonus deadlift video

@arealwomanalwyz On the deadlift it looks like you are going around your knees on the way down. On the way down you want to break at the hips and move them back but not bend your knees until the bar passes your knee. The view isn't the best because of that other machine so I'm not 100% sure...
