    Information Overload

@ilovegod777 My health motto is “I don’t have to be perfect, I just have to be better.” That helps me shut out the external noise and my inner perfectionist.

Not everybody will have a bubble butt. And that’s okay.

@g3ntl3w4rri0r Yep. I’m lean and muscular but my hip dips take a “scoop” out of the side of my butt. No matter how much work I do, I will always have that concave spot. It used to bother me, but now I focus on areas like my arms or abs where I am lucky to pretty easily have defined muscles.

    I was promised endorphins

@romans5to8 I’m your age. Cardio kickboxing and spin give me the high.

    Oikos Triple Zero?

@steven92 It’s my favorite yogurt. I normally get vanilla but the flavors are good too. Definitely filling.

What motivated you to get into fitness?

@pastorguice I cannot even begin to tell you how improved my mental health is with daily exercise. It is like a miracle drug for my brain. Focusing on that and divorcing the concepts of exercise and weight in my mind has been the secret I wish I had learned long ago.

    Finally got dumbbells and…

@kaylarose3 I do Body Pump which is low weight with high reps. On the shoulder track I do most often, even the in shape male instructor is only using 5lb dumbbells for most of the exercises.

Anyone tried Resistance band leggings? E.g. Sweetflex or Agogie?

@zealous_heiress Very interested to hear opinions. I’d never heard of them before and had to Google.

I'm doing everything right. Why am I not losing fat/weight?

@mon4thelord People really seem to overestimate how many calories are burned during exercise. I don't mean to be rude, but 10 or 15 minutes of walking is good for your heart but is burning very few calories. (Maybe 50-75). I am a cardio queen but I only burn 350 calories in a pretty intense...

Switching to sculpt/low weight workouts to lean out?

@lostsoul777 And let me guess… probably also a comment or two about how it is wrong to be self conscious about being extremely muscular and why are you caving to unreasonable beauty standards.

Switching to sculpt/low weight workouts to lean out?

@virtualhope I'm going against the grain here, but I think it is a myth that women can't get bulky lifting weights without trying really hard. Some of us are just more likely to put on muscle and there is nothing wrong with preferring a different look. Women post in here regularly who look...

Do certain Pilates Moves attribute to more of a boxy figure? Confused!!

@nula I love hearing about other women who naturally put on a decent amount of muscle. Some of us don’t have to live in the gym to do that and I get annoyed at how common that myth is.

    Haven’t worked out in 2 1/2 weeks ☹️

@perviasrectas The most important lesson of fitness is learning how to be resilient. There will be so many times you have to take a break. You’re sick, you move, you have family obligations. This is a great time to practice resilience!
