    @sanchez55 My gym deliberately programs Thursdays as a “light” day most weeks so the Monday-Friday crowd doesn’t overdo it

    More reps with lower weight, or less reps with higher weight?

    @ladyblue1 If the coach told you to do less weight and more reps, that’s the “intended stimulus” for the workout. It’s always a good idea to ask if they don’t tell you before the workout starts.

    what’s everyone’s go-to (lame) joke at the gym?

    @elsiejo For AMRAPs, etc. we usually use poker chips to count rounds. If someone asks me if I need chips I’ll reply “what, you think I can’t count to 2?”
