    No joke post

@victoryj I've been doing Schedule B of Easy Muscle which is more or less a variation of this - 3 days/wk C&P/FS day alternated with chinup/dip day. Gets the job done.

    Easy Muscle Completed (finally)!

@jccarlos26serra Tested myself and maxed out at 14 chin-ups and 18 dips in one set.

    Easy Muscle Completed (finally)!

@jccarlos26serra Thanks! I did indeed change my diet. The Noom app was really helpful to me as it made me more mindful of what I was eating and the color system (vs tracking macros) they use took the guess work out of it which was really helpful at that stage. I think the #1 thing was cutting...

    Progression and Bell purchase ?

@blessed1ofhis 54yo here. I wholeheartedly recommend the BoS adjustables, best investment I’ve made. I believe that being able to progress in smaller increments has helped me to progress in a smoother manner and without injury. As far as programs go, I definitely recommend Easy Muscle or DFW.

    Easy Muscle Completed (finally)!

@maish013 Thanks! I did use the same KB weight for C&P and front squats beginning to end. Up until I started the program, I had been working with a single 16kg (not totally sedentary but wasn't consistently following a specific program as of yet). I went ahead and jumped to double 20KG for the...

    Easy Muscle Completed (finally)!

This past weekend, I completed Geoff Neupert's Easy Muscle program. I started by journey back to health with Noom at the first of this year and lost 40lbs. Easy Muscle was the next step for me. I opted for Schedule B which is a 3 day/week schedule, alternating between KB (C&P/FS), and Bodyweight...

    Easy Muscle: Day 1

@giddyg I am using 20kg for both. I was using 16kg for another routine that was a bit more cardio based. The 20kg was my 5 rep max on C&P so I stuck with that for squats. the challenging part was more holding the KBs in the rack while squatting but that got better as the sets progressed and I...

    Easy Muscle: Day 1

@doctoroliver83 I too found them puzzling at my first couple of passes and I had to watch the intro video a few times for it to sink in. Definitely could have been arranged better.

    Easy Muscle: Day 1

@emmanuelm118 This is my first week but I like how it is set up, all compound exercises that get a lot done in terms of overall strength in a smaller window. I chose schedule B because it includes both KB and BW. There is also the option to add in hanging leg raises and dead bugs for a bit...

    Easy Muscle: Day 1

First day following Geoff Neupert’s Easy Muscle program. Went from using a single 16kg to dual 20kg & following schedule B (bodyweight/kettlebells). Got in a total of 26 C&P and 20 FS reps and the FS were definitely a challenge.

    KB FS vs. C&P Weights

@gina7arth Your legs are stronger muscles than your arms so that's just how it is. I just started DFW Remix and FS with the same weight as my 5RM for presses.
