    I’m so upset…

@ebarnes I’ve never tried LMNT but I’ve recently become obsessed with Ghost’s new bottled hydration drink. I want to try their BCAA powder too.

Just for fun: what’s everyone’s favorite fitness/health “fact” that’s been debunked?

@notaperfectchristian My least favorite one is that lower stomach fat is there to “protect your uterus” or that it’s “just your uterus sticking out”. That’s not true at all and it’s wild how much people repeat it. There’s nothing wrong with lower stomach fat but let’s at least be factual about...

Just for fun: what’s everyone’s favorite fitness/health “fact” that’s been debunked?

@jimsfaust I heard it from elder-millennial dance teachers growing up too :/ like girly it is 2007 and you are 25, don’t tell children their thighs are going to get bulky lmao

    Where to shop

@krisuvial1992 In my experience, the more expensive the store, the less vain the sizing. It’s not a guarantee but it’s fairly reliable, and the reverse is almost always true (cheaper store, vainer sizing).

Eating back too much calories. Tips?

@irishamerican4christ If you’re routinely overeating with no meal plan, you should see an RD and get a plan together.

What’s your TDEE? What do you for fitness?

@senni Damn, 2222 is an awesome TDEE. I’m 5’1”, 27, and according to my spreadsheet, mine averages out around 1900. I have hypothyroidism but it’s medicated back to normal now - I think my TDEE was around 1200 before I got on medication, and that’s a huge part of why I gained 40 pounds despite...

    Where to shop

@sirilpaul10 American Eagle is one of the few places that make jeans that fit me! They vanity size to hell and back, but they were absolutely pioneers when it comes to curvy fit and short clothes. Curvy fit extra short jeans 😍

Therapist wants me to accept myself at a bigger size

@66bookssss Honestly I know people get pissy about this, but I hear you. I recovered from anorexia nine years ago and have been slowly, healthily, carefully losing weight for the last year after having gained a lot of weight due to unrelated physical illnesses that I’ve been dealing with. I hate...

    I’m 38. I’ve been told I won’t get to what I was even when I was 34

@supernova1044 I’m 28 but I think people are unhinged. 38 isn’t old! Also, any changes that may occur metabolically or hormonally are generally manageable. I don’t know why people think 38 is like 70. It’s still young tbh. A lot of health care professionals say that the 30’s and 40’s are when...

Sometimes…it just comes down to grit🤷🏾‍♀️

@jodi1028 Lmao Oreos are so bad for this, I keep them in my car because if I keep them in my apartment I’ll finish a pack in like two days

6.5 inches off waist, 2.5 pounds heavier

@theeverydaykingdom Regarding health, I’d check with your doctor. Heavier weights do still put stress on your knees and such, but I don’t know that 157 is enough to cause damage at 5’3, especially with all that muscle taking some of the strain off of the joints.

Just watched a large man’s “what I eat in a day” IG real and once again mad at how little we can eat

@shieldofangels The only benefit we have is that I can’t imagine spending that much on food every day. The price of groceries is insane lol

    Losing weight on antidepressants?

@jdubya Effexor is actually an SNRI! I don’t think it makes a huge weight difference, though when I was on 300mg I was always super sweaty, so maybe it influences water weight lol
