Is this dumb? Why can’t I enjoy my free gym options? Just get the expensive membership?

@jay1969 Ah totally understand the shut in thing. I’m kind of the opposite as I travel for work, so getting out of the area isn’t much of a priority for me, but I can see how it would be for others. I hope you find out the best fit for you!

Is this dumb? Why can’t I enjoy my free gym options? Just get the expensive membership?

@jay1969 Another user wrote about this, but I second it. See if you can get a routine going at your apartment gym. I wanted to get back into working out but I couldn’t find a gym I wanted to really commit to. There were just too many options and it was overwhelming. But my free apartment gym was...

Urgent advice! Someone filming me at the gym. Gym won’t take action

@cookiemon (Sorry this is a long response) I’m sorry this happened to you. I had something similar happen to me, but not in a gym. I called the police several times as this was something on going and I got mixed results. Sometimes the police would come and try to speak with the man, but he was...

Incline walking- how much should I be doing?

@bo91 5 incline is a great level! I just really don’t think you have to go so extreme to get good results!

Incline walking- how much should I be doing?

@conandew You’re welcome! My main workout was always walking. It still is. When the weather is nice, I will also do outdoor walking. I think the varying surfaces and inclines outdoors give a nice variety and help things not to be so monotonous. Eventually I started running after almost a year of...

Incline walking- how much should I be doing?

@conandew I walked once a day,3-4 times a week. Mostly 3 times, but 4 if I had time. Got easier as the weeks went on and it became something I really looked forward to! Hope this helps!

Incline walking- how much should I be doing?

@kenfeyl See, that is odd because I’m the opposite of you. I can run at a 10/11 minute mile pace and keep my heart rate around 160-170, but if I did an 11% incline at 3mph, I’m probably up around 180-185+. I haven’t tried that much of an incline in a while, but I’m even pushing it at a 9%, so I...

Incline walking- how much should I be doing?

@godsgraceisenough2013 As someone who has used walking to lose weight (have lost 30lbs over several months), I prefer to vary my inclines during the workout. I honestly rarely go to 10. I like the 4-8 range. It gets my heart rate in the zone I want it and keeps it there. I don’t feel the need to...
