@mycrossfactor How do you get cortisol into your diet in the first place? I thought it was generated internally physiologically from stress and lack of sleep.
@momta4blessed Yea, I’ve got big sleep problems. Had them prior to being fat. Yes, OSA, but I had OSA this prior to being fat and even when I was skinny OSA was bad. Plumbing issue I think. Getting treatment -CPAP/inspire-still hit or miss.
@shotgunjesus I’m going to hit the weights hard. Powerlifting moves. HIIT sets.
Six months of rowing hard is fine but didn’t do as much as I expected it to. Like they say about swimming - the “perfect” exercise they say - doesn’t do much for my body composition unless I’m swimming 2 hours/day.
@chozenwun I know. I can only do it one day at a time.
On a side note, I’m always amazed that it’s 2024 and we still can’t catch blockages that bad that during a routine annual examination. You’d think a) it’d be something we would look for and b) it’s something we could actually detect prior...
@yoyopup 70lbs? That’s amazing. I suppose you’re a bloke/mate/lad from the UK sphere with your reference to Stone measurement. Beer is a favorite indulgence of mine as are pubs. Social outlet.
I’m starting to keep records of my caloric intake with an app. I’ll get this down.
@rbb221b My fellow commiserator, thank you for the feedback. It’s hard for me to do both - work out hard and cut calories hard - at the same time. Lol. I’ll get there, but it’ll be at the expense of a little strength I think.
@mistamaniac3000 Yea. I cannot believe that a bag of Doritos has as many calories as say a pound of chicken breast. Seems so counterintuitive since the bag only weighs like 4 ounces and the pound is, well, 16 ounces.
