    Night vs Morning Workouts

@nathan2018 Oo Gatorade, that is an amazing idea. I normally have a Pb&J sandwich. I’m so glad to hear it got better over time thoughts

    Night vs Morning Workouts

    @hazel92 I’ve been doing a PB&J sandwich!

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@gingerjeremy This makes a lot of sense, I eat a PB&J sandwich on the way to the gym, I’m thinking maybe wake up a bit earlier and eat while I’m getting ready to give my body more time to figure itself out lol

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@kgotlaor I have a protein shake after, I have ibs so protein shakes before a workout definitely don’t go well with me haha

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@obembe Hydration is definitely something I’ve been trying to be more mindful of, I know I can be better at it just overall in my life. A lot of people have been saying drop the PB, I like the idea of swapping that for a banana and some more carbs for sure

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@obembe I have been eating a PB&J beforehand so far, I’m guessing it’s not enough

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@3woes This makes a ton of sense. When I first switched to mornings, forcing myself to eat at 6:30/7:00am was really difficult. Going to try eating a larger dinner the night before.

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@fkjg I think I’m going to start throwing in a banana and oatmeal into the mix, much more substantial than just a PB&J haha

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@fkjg I’ve been doing a PB&J sandwich before, I have IBS so if I had a protein smoothie before the gym, I would be SO bloated during my workout. I make a huge protein smoothie when I get back though

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@hairballfred This is the exact same thing I noticed! I think people have to use their time more wisely in the morning whereas the night crowd is enjoying the end of the day. You’re so right too, it having to wait for equipment is another bonus

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@worshiper1994 Ooo I love rice cakes. I respect your schedule a ton! That takes a lot of dedication to go twice in one day

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@levismom Yes you’re so right, 1:00pm is such an ideal time to go. The after work time can be good and bad because you could potentially be tired from work but also it’s kind of a nice way to finish up a day.

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@rdj2008 That is such a good point! Getting it done with first thing in the morning, and it is nice having time for other things in the evenings now. The gummies is a great idea. I used to do Rice Krispies.

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@sanderson Much respect to you for getting there that early! I’m not there as early as you but I have noticed the morning crowd is much more consistent, the night crowd is much larger, fluctuates more, and has a lot more high schoolers in it so it’s nice being in a quieter gym.

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@jaz2001 FAIR haha gyms are at least a 10 to 15 minute drive regardless so my logic is “what’s an extra few minutes for a gym I’m obsessed with”
  18. S

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@jaz2001 Ah mine is about a 20 minute drive- I think if it was closer, it would be much more feasible. My gym does have a workspace though, so on days with lighter work where I don’t need two monitors, I could probably just work from there for a little and fit it in somehow. Midday workouts are...

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@jaz2001 I still have to be online and near my laptop during the day, I would like to go in the middle of the day but I don’t think I would have enough time; driving there, back, doing the actual workout, having to shower, etc.

    Night vs Morning Workouts

@carrielyne I wfh too! It makes it a lot less stressful not having to scramble to get ready. I think that’s why I became used to a night time gym routine- because my previous job was in office. I’m starting to see what you’re pointing out though; more serious crowd, a good routine, etc...
