Can’t wake up after a hard workout

@wowgold3323 I don’t eat enough but when I do I stick to mostly veggies, avocados, eggs(lots of eggs), cheese, fish, poke, there’s some foods I stay away from because they bloat me up like rice, broccoli, potatoes, so have GERD and digestive issues so I have to be very mindful so it doesn’t...

Can’t wake up after a hard workout

@buzzy204 I feel guilty if I’m not active on rest days or I feel like damn I should be working out 5x a week at least. It’s different I use to run 5x a week and I could do it. It’s a huge shift with strength training and I’m trying to adjust and figure my body out again.

@average650 How much cardio do you do? I like incorporating cardio at the beginnings my workout for 20mins because it gets my blood pumping & sweating. Then I’ll strength train for almost n hour.

@snlmommy Probably right on the needing to sleep more. I’m just frustrated because that means less time on doing things I want to do like hobbies n such. Also struggling a lot with eating and what my deficit should be, I’ve calculated and I should be eating around 1,600 calories. Trying to...

Can’t wake up after a hard workout

I’m still considered pretty new at weightlifting, my goal is to build strength, & lose fat. Working out 3-4 times a week and letting my body rest in between. Lately I’ve been noticing that I can’t wake up in the morning on time to get to work. I’m in bed by 9:30-10pm and need to be up by 5am...
